Topic Books for Younger Children

This lecture will discuss how storyline can be used as an ignition or a starting point into further work about different themes such as the car, the kitchen, the mountains and the harbour. All these themes include a lot of science activities and information to be collected and explored from different sources. Examples of children's work will be shown and Icelandic textbooks and teaching material about these issues will be introduced.
