Creating a Storyline School
Jill Wells, Deputy Headteacher at Malton CP School and Lorna Karetnyk, Deputy Headteacher at Kirkbymoorside CP School, sharing how they introduced and developed a storyline ethos within their schools.

Within three years from having been introduced to the Storyline Method at the 2nd International Conference in Copenhagen, Jill and Lorna have established a Storyline ethos in both of their schools. This is now fully embedded within the school curriculum and they can already see the benefits for pupils as well as staff that this approach offers.

Jill and Lorna, both teaching at Kirkbymoorside at the time were introduced to the storyline method by a Norwegian colleague and attended the 2nd International Conference in Copenhagen. Since then Jill has moved schools but continued to work closely with Lorna sharing and disseminating the development of storyline in North Yorkshire.
