The first international presentation by members of the staff tutor team was at an conference in Sheffield in the late 70s. This was organised by the European Association of Teachers. Attending this event were many representatives from international schools in Europe. Our presentation in the form of a workshop attracted a great deal of interest and attention. This led to an invitation to give courses for teachers in several schools in Belgium – the British School in Brussels, The International School in Brussels, St John’s in Waterloo and Antwerp International School.
