Östersund stands on the banks of the Storsjoen (or The Great Lake) of Jaemtland in Sweden. This large lake is famous as is Loch Ness in Scotland for a Monster which has regularly been seen by reliable witnesses. The inhabitants of Östersund have many stories to tell. So, it is probably not surprising that the town has become a centre of interest for those enthusiastic teachers who crowd into the many Storyline courses organised there by Iris Strömberg of ITIS and Helena Fredriksson of AV-media. On a recent visit I was greatly impressed by what I heard of the Storyline work which was being done in schools in the area. For more information – in Swedish – click on the picture.
