Andrea (Andy) Vicenikova who attended our Golden Circle seminar in Hamburg has just been in contact with me. She is working as an educational project co-ordinator for the Daphne Institute. She writes: “Mostly I am engaged in preparation of manuals for primary teachers on different topics – wetlands, grasslands, peatlands, forests and in the preparation and implementation of training sessions for teachers on the basis of manuals. In 1999 we succeeded in opening the Eco-Centre – Centre for Environmental Education where most of the educational activities are taking place and of course we pay a strong attention to outdoor educational activities.”
